FlashPeak’s Slim Browser – Very Slim, Fast, Easy to use Web Browser for Windows

Slim Browser

FlashPeak Slim Browser is one of the fastest browser for Windows I ever used. I use Slim Browser on an older computer with only a dual-core 1.86GHz Intel Core2Dou CPU, 1GB of RAM, and a 320 GB hard drive which has Windows 8 installed on it.

Slim Browser starts up quickly, and use very little  RAM and CPU cycles even when many Slim Browser tabs and windows are open.  Slim browser’s window also minimizes, maximizes, closes and restore very quickly when I click on the minimize, maximize, and close button on the top right of the window. Slim Browser also rarely crashes in my experience.

Creating new tabs, windows, and closing tabs is fast, and easy in Slim Browser. I just click the + sign on the tab bar to make a new tab, or the X sign on a tab to close a Window.

Slim Browser load big websites many seconds faster than other web browsers like FireFox which sometimes freezes my PC when loading big sites like the Huffington Post, Toms Hardware, and websites with a lot of animation, big pictures, sharing buttons, widgets, and scripts.

I like Slim Browser because it is easy to use, and has all the features like tab browsing, autofill, pop-up blocker,  bookmarks, super fast download manager, speed dial bookmarks,  social networking sharing buttons, and privacy eraser built-in, so I do not need to install any add-ons which can slow down my web browsing experience on my PC.

Plus, Slim Browser is compatible with websites which use Flash, HTML5, and other plug-ins and web standards, so I can go on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter without problems.

The user interface is pretty easy to use there are buttons for back, forward, bookmark, refresh, stop, and things like a search box, and address box for going to different websites.

Slim browser also supports themes which let you change the look of Slim Browser if you prefer a different look from the standard skin.

Go to slimbrowser.net to download it for free, and learn more about Slim Web Browser.

Is this web browser compatible for Iphones or Tablets?

No, this browser does not work on mobile. But, it works on Windows 8 tablets like the Surface Pro, and compatible Windows operating system like XP, Vista, and 7.

You fail to mention that SlimBrowser uses the Trident layout engine already installed on WIndows PCs. Therefore someone like myself who is still using XP on an old laptop will not receive full support for HTML5 and other modern standards.

Thanks for pointing out that Slim Browser uses the Trident Layout engine. Maxthon maybe a good choice since it is a dual web browser engine web browser which has both the Trident, and Webkit web engine which supports HTML5.
