This is a great keyboard app for people with big thumbs, and fingers, or their tablet or smartphone screen is small making it difficult for typing on a on-screen keyboard because of the small size of a regular keyboard on a small screen.
I have been using this keyboard app for a few weeks on my 7 inch Google Android 5.0 Asus Nexus 7 2012 tablet, and it works pretty well for me at typing sentences, and words quicker in Android.
Using Big Button Keyboard on a large tablet will make it easier to type with two or more fingers even in portrait mode because of the big size of the buttons on the keyboard.
The keyboard is also very fast, and reliable. It appears in about a second after I tap on a textbox on Android. It also minimize quickly after I am done using it. The keyboard also never crashes and freezes when I use it on Google Android.
The keyboard is also very lightweight since it only is 135K in size which is a very small file size. Its file size is smaller than many images on websites. It also use about 5MB of RAM when I check the Running App section of Google Android settings. It uses a lot less RAM than other Keyboards which sometimes use 30MB or more RAM.
I also like the minimal design of Big Button Keyboard which has no graphics, and looks similar to the calculator app in Android.
In the settings for Big Button Keyboard, you can also activate, and change your keyboard to Big Button Keyboard.
It is also to turn on and off the key press sound, vibrating key press, Two Spaces, and capitalization after period, key preview in its settings. You can also adjust the height of the Keyboard to fit better on your phone’s screen. You can also change the button Legend to be like Android, or iOS, and change the Keyboard layout to QWERTY, QWERTZ, and AZERTY in its settings.
It also works for Google Android 1.6 and above.
Big Button Keyboard is a big keyboard which is also very fast, and lightweight for a Keyboard app. It is also customizable where I can change the height, and other settings like Layout, and Key sounds.
