QuickPic is a great alternative to the Gallery App or Google Plus Photos app for Google Android. I like QuickPic because it runs very quickly, and opens in seconds after tapping on the QuickPic app on my Homescreen. It also organize my photo and video files by folders, and I can exclude certain folders from being shown in QuickPic.
It also supports online photo storage services like Picasa, Google Drive, Dropbox, Flickr, OneDrive, 500px, etc.
It also supports finger gestures like pinch to zoom, slide finger horizontally to the next photo, double tap (and drag) to zoom, and 2 finders picture rotate.
I can also Group photos by time and location in QuickPic. You can also hide photos and videos from other Gallery Apps, and password protect your photos and video.
QuickPic also supports video and animated gif. It also has a built-in picture editor which can rotate, shrink, crop pictures, set wallpaper. QuickPic can also sort, rename, create new folders, move and copy pictures within QuickPic.
I have been using QuickPic on my Asus Google Nexus 7 2012 tablet, and it works great for viewing photos and video. I like that QuickPic use only about 814 KB of storage space which is less than 1MB, so it does not take up much space. It also rarely crashes, and runs pretty fast. It also has all the features I need in a photo viewing app.
