Mini Homescreen desktop Google Android

Mini Desktop Homescreen Launcher is a fast, and simple Google Android Launcher. It runs fast even on slower Google Android devices like the Kobo Vox with Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread. I use this launcher on all my Google Android tablets which are the Kobo Vox, Asus Google Nexus 7 2012, and Nvidia Shield K1 tablet because this tablet uses very little storage space, runs very quickly because of its low RAM and CPU usage, low storage usage, and it uses very little battery life.

Mini Desktop App file size is a very small 170 KB in size which is smaller than most picture files online. Mini Desktop just display your app icon shortcuts, and App titles on its homescreen. Mini Desktop does not support homescreen widgets, so it is a very basic homescreen launcher app. It also only has a portrait mode, so the launcher does not rotate to landscape mode even when you rotate your mobile device to landscape, and auto-screen rotate is ON.

I have been using the Nvidia Shield K1 Google Android Gaming tablet for over a month to play games, browse the web, watch video, and do other tablet related tasks. It is one of the best $200 tablets which I ever used. The Shiled Tabler is fast, reliable, fun and simple to use as my main tablet.

It also has a lot of great features like a MicroSD card slot with Apps to SD support, mini-HDMI port, fast wifi, nice cameras, and very fast performance. The Shield also has not slowed down after installing a lot of games, and apps on it, and using it for a few months.

The Shield Tablet is fast enough to play all games which I downloaded from the Google Play App store. I like how fast Apps startup after tapping on app shortcuts in the homescreen. Most apps only take a few seconds to startup, and game levels load in only a few seconds. I also don’t experience any slowdown problems like slow video frame rates, or stuttering audio even when setting the quality settings to the highest settings in games like Asphalt 8, GT Racing 2, and other intensive game titles.

Clean Master Lite System Utility for Google Android

Clean Master Lite is a lightweight version of the popular Clean Master system utility app for Google Android smartphones, tablets, and devices. The lite version of Clean Master has only the most important features of Clean Master which include junk file cleanup, phone booster/task killer, battery life saver/extender, and an antivirus scanner.

What makes Clean Master Lite better than other lightweight disk cleanup apps is that it can clean up advertisement junk files, and junk files from other apps along with Android’s cache and empty folders on your storage drive. The Battery Booster can also hibernate apps to make your device use less of your battery’s electricity, RAM, and CPU resources while your device is on.

Clean Master Lite works fast and reliably on devices with less than 1GB of RAM like devices with 512MB, or 256MB of system RAM which typically also has a 1GHz or slower Single or Dual-Core CPU . I tested Clean Master Lite on my Kobo Vox Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread tablet with a 800 MHz/0.8GHz single core CPU, 8GB storage and 512MB RAM, and Asus Nexus 7 Google Android 5.1 Lollipop tablet with 1GB of RAM, 16GB storage and 1.3GHz Quad Core Nvidia Tegra 3 CPU. Clean Master Lite runs quickly and reliably on both slower tablets. [continue reading…]
