Windows 8 has been one of the most stable, and fast Windows based operating systems which I used from Microsoft since Windows XP. It runs pretty fast even on slower computer hardware like my computer with a dual core 1.86 GHz CPU, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, integrated intel video, and a 320GB hard drive.

I experience fewer slow downs in Windows 8 than previous versions of Windows like Vista and 7.  All my programs which I typically use like Google Chrome, Firefox, VLC Player, MS Word,  and other programs. All my programs also run pretty smoothly. It is easy to go back to the classic windows desktop by clicking on the Desktop tile, or hitting Windows Key + D key on the Keyboard, and to switch between the classic desktop, and new desktop, I hit the Windows Key.

Using the Start screen in the new modern user interface is also pretty good since I can use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the program I want to open, and press enter to open the new program. I can also press Windows Keyboard key + Q key to launch the all apps, and programs search engine to easily search for the program I want to launch. The Start Screen is the new Windows 8 Startbutton, and Startmenu which can also open full screen apps from the Windows 8 app store which has plenty of free, and paid apps which are fairly price.
